Three in a row for Gillespie

Having last year won widespread acclaim for the extent and quality of their interior theming to the spectacular Venetian Casino in Macau, Gillespie has now completed similarly exacting GRG installations at the luxury DFS Galleria mall at the Four Seasons Hotel, Macau. Here, Gillespie supplied and installed the decorative walls surrounding the couture stores using Zerodec laminated GRG. The walls feature a textured wave design, which gains its striking visual impact from the sinuous curves and flawless finish that Gillespie achieved.

Gillespie have also completed a major project at The Centre, previously the Almondvale Shopping Centre, situated between Glasgow and Edinburgh. A Land Securities and Miller Construction venture, The Centre is a major retail development comprising several distinct areas each with its own unique atmosphere. Gillespie has installed extensive areas of dry lining walls and pilasters to achieve the interior styling to Elements Square, The Avenue and The Winter Gardens area.

The Westfield retail development completes the trio of recent retail project completions from Gillespie. At Westfield, Gillespie worked closely with BGI Architects and interiors contractor Ibex Interiors to deliver GRG ceiling features, bulkheads, columns casings, lighting troughs, large elliptical domes and continuous areas of curved ceilings to the West Village area. The Gillespie in-house design team additionally worked in close collaboration with the architects in working up the detailed design drawings for the stunning Zerodec GRG features in the public mall areas. In a second package for the Winter Gardens, Gillespie supplied and installed large quantities of curved void-edge GRG panels that form the centrepiece circulation area.

With an extensive in-house manufacturing capability and on-site installation skills, Gillespie consistently and reliably achieve the accuracy of line and precision finishing that is essential to the visual success of contemporary retail malls.
