Designed by BUJ Architects, and featuring many of the latest eco-friendly technologies, the development offers luxurious accommodation for over 900 guests and residents.
Working with main contractor Galliard Homes Limited, Gillespie completed the installation of formed GRG and plasterboard in the entrance area, and slotted GRG panels in the entrance canopy soffit. The design and materials work together to enable air exchange as well as providing acoustic absorption.
The canopy soffit is external to the main building, and demonstrates how effective the Gillespie patented Zerodec laminated GRG product can be when used in exterior applications. As long as the Zerodec is exposed only to the atmosphere and not to the elements, it is perfectly safe and highly effective when used in sheltered external conditions.
